We’re excited to announce that Jud Moritz has joined our team as Quitman Market President.
With 22 years of banking experience, Jud is a seasoned professional who has held several key roles throughout his career. For 13 years, he served as Senior Vice President, Valdosta Market President at The First Bank, following their merger with Southwest Georgia Bank. Prior to this, he served as a Commercial Loan Officer from 2005-2010 at Park Avenue Bank and held a similar position with Regions Bank from 2001-2005.

Jud has built an outstanding career and reputation, and his experience will be valuable in assisting customers with their commercial banking needs. Jud is a Valdosta native and has two sons with his wife, Anna. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia. Jud is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
