Colony Bank Promotes Laurie Senn to Chief Operations Officer

We’re proud to announce that Laurie Senn, formerly Director of Loan Operations, Senior Vice President, has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer. In this expanded role, Senn will be responsible for overseeing loan operations, deposit operations, and project management.

Senn joined Colony Bank in October 2020. She has more than 20 years of banking experience serving in positions of increasing responsibility, such as, Executive Vice President at Members United Credit Union, CRA Officer/Operations/Compliance with AB&T, Albany CDP Coordinator at Renasant Bank, and Assistant Loan Operations Manager for HeritageBank of the South, prior to its acquisition by Renasant Bank.

As Chief Operations Officer, we are confident that Laurie will continue to be a vital asset in helping us achieve our mission.”

Senn has an Associate of Art degree from Darton State College, attended Georgia Southwestern State University, is a 2020 graduate of Leadership Lee and is currently enrolled in the GBA Banking School. As an Albany native, she’s very active in her community, including serving as a board member for Ballet Theatre South. Senn and her husband, Brandon, attend St. Teresa’s Catholic Church and have two children.
