Colony Bank Promotes Tammie Sheppard to Chief Compliance Officer

We’re pleased to announce the promotion of Tammie Sheppard to Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, Tammie will be responsible for overseeing the Bank’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.

Tammie began her banking career with Colony in 1995 and most recently served as the Director of Compliance. Since joining our team, she has held positions in a variety of areas including Loan Collateral Clerk, Loan Administrative Assistant, Loan Operations Manager, Lending and Compliance Training Coordinator, and Senior Compliance Officer.

Tammie received an Accounting Certificate from Wiregrass Technical College and is a graduate of the Georgia Bankers Association’s Compliance School. She currently serves on the Compliance Committee for the Georgia Bankers Association. In her free time, Tammie enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her two grandsons.
