Dexter Lummus Named Atlanta Market President

Colony Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Dexter Lummus to Atlanta Market President. A seasoned banking professional with more than four decades of experience, Lummus will oversee strategic growth initiatives and strengthen Colony’s commercial banking presence across the Metro Atlanta area.

Lummus most recently served as Managing Director of Commercial Real Estate at Colony Bank, where he focused on delivering tailored financing solutions to Atlanta’s real estate market. He joined Colony in 2021 through the acquisition of SouthCrest Bank and has been instrumental in growing the bank’s commercial presence in the region.

Prior to joining Colony, Lummus held senior roles at IBERIABANK/Georgia Commerce Bank and other leading community and regional banks throughout Atlanta. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Lummus resides in the Metro Atlanta area with his wife and two children.
