Checking Account Sweepstakes

There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes during the Contest Entry Period. 1) Automatic Entry: One entry into the drawing automatically occurs upon opening a new personal or business checking account at a participating Colony Bank locations, and entries will be assigned to the drawing for the participating location where the account is opened. For personal accounts, one entry will be made jointly in the name(s) of all primary owners of the account. For business accounts, one entry will be made in the name of the legal entity which owns the account. 2) To enter without purchase visit one of our participating locations and complete an entry form or send a 3” x 5” card with your name, mailing address and phone number clearly and legibly written on there: Portable Car Jump Starter with Air Compressor (retail value $70) Checking Contest, Colony Bank, 115 S. Grant St., Fitzgerald, GA 31750. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the last day of the Contest Entry Period and received by the third business day following that date in order to be eligible. There is a limit of one entry per person and mail-in entries must be sent in a postmarked, stamped envelope. All mail-in entries will be automatically assigned to the Fitzgerald, GA office location prize drawing.

Entrants may enter only by using one of the entry methods described in these rules. Entries that are mechanically reproduced, copied, illegible, incomplete, or inaccurate are void. Entries become the property of Colony Bank and will not be acknowledged or returned. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of . Void where prohibited by law. Employees, directors and officers, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and their respective household members, whether or not related, of Colony Bankcorp, Inc., and affiliated companies are not eligible to enter. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

The Contest Entry Period begins at the start of business on Monday, December 2, 2024, and ends at the close of business on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Random drawings will be held on or shortly before January 31, 2025, from all entries received during the Contest Entry Period for each participating location. They will be conducted under the auspices of Colony Bank, the contest sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on matters relating to this promotion. Colony Bank will notify the winners by U.S. mail and/or telephone immediately following the drawing.

Actual odds of winning a prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Entry Period which are attributable to each participating location.

Portable Car Jump Starter with Air Compressor (retail value $70) will be awarded to the first eligible entry drawn for each participating location.

All prizes must be picked up by winners, at their expense, at the banking location at which they are awarded within 30 days of notification that a prize has been won. Valid photo identification will be required to claim all prizes. Unless other arrangements are made, any prizes which are not claimed during the specified period will not be awarded and will be retained by the bank for further disposition as it sees fit.

All prizes are awarded on an as-is, where-is basis. Excepting the choice of color and case size as described in the “Prizes” paragraph above, no substitutions are permitted except when an item is no longer available from the manufacturer or vendor. In such cases, the bank reserves the right to substitute an item with an equivalent retail value. Any expenses related to the acceptance or use of a prize are the sole responsibility of the recipient. This includes but is not limited to taxes (if applicable) and to any expenses associated with pick-up/delivery, ownership and use of the prize.

Winner will be notified by a traceable method of delivery, and where required, will need to sign for the delivery.

By participating, entrants agree: a) to abide by the Official Rules, which shall be final in all respects; and b) to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless Colony Bank, and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees, from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the Contest and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to Colony Bank and its designees’ use of his/her name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation and, upon request, will provide consent to such use in writing.

Colony Bank is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any related materials, or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail or entries. Colony Bank reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the drawing as determined by Colony Bank in its sole discretion. This Contest is governed by laws of the United States with venue in Fitzgerald, Georgia, for the resolution of all claims and disputes.
