Phillip Anderson Joins Colony Bank as Savannah Market President

Colony Bank is proud to announce the appointment of Phillip Anderson as Market President for its Savannah market, reinforcing the bank’s continued investment in one of Georgia’s fastest-growing markets and its commitment to relationship-driven community banking.

In his new role, Anderson will focus on strengthening relationships throughout the Savannah market while supporting local businesses, families, and continued economic growth across the Coastal Georgia region. He joins Colony Bank with nearly 30 years of banking experience spanning commercial and middle market banking, commercial real estate lending, construction lending, private banking, and wealth management.

“Savannah continues to be an important growth market for Colony Bank, and we have built an exceptional team dedicated to serving the businesses, families, and communities that make this region so special,” said Wesley Olliff, Coastal Georgia President at Colony Bank. “Phillip’s addition further strengthens our ability to deliver the local service, trusted advice, and financial expertise that customers expect from Colony Bank. We are excited about the momentum we are building across Coastal Georgia and the role Phillip will play in our continued growth.”

A Georgia native, Anderson has built a successful banking career throughout Georgia and the Southeast, including more than a decade serving markets along the South Carolina coast. He is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School and holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from Mercer University. He and his family are proud to call Savannah home and remain actively involved in the local community.

“Phillip is the kind of banker who naturally builds trust and long-lasting relationships,” said Rob Sparks, Coastal Georgia Regional President at Colony Bank. “His reputation, depth of experience, and passion for serving customers is a true complement to our team. We are proud to welcome Phillip to Colony Bank and excited about the impact he will make in Savannah.”
