Welcome

TC Federal Bank joins Colony Bank!

We’re excited to announce that TC Federal Bank will be joining Colony Bank to bring you more resources, more support, and more ways to bank.

This partnership brings together two community banks with a shared commitment to service, relationships, and doing what’s right for our customers, team members, and communities. By coming together, we’ll be able to offer you more of the following: expanded access to locations, enhanced digital banking tools, and a wider range of personal and business banking solutions. You’ll still work with the same friendly team you know and trust, now with even more resources behind them to serve you better.

While the transaction is still subject to regulatory approval, we’re working closely together to ensure a smooth transition for our teams and the communities we serve.

Thank you for your continued trust. We’re excited to keep making progress together.

As we come together, here’s what you can look forward to:

  • An expanded branch and ATM network across Georgia and Florida
  • Greater access to personal and business banking services
  • Enhanced digital and mobile banking tools
  • Stronger support from a larger team of experienced bankers, committed to personal service
  • Continued focus on local leadership and community investment

We’re Here to Help

What does this announcement mean for me as a Colony Bank customer?

There are no changes to your accounts, debit card, or online banking, and you’ll continue working with the same team you know and trust. What this announcement does mean is more convenience, more expertise, and more access. You’ll see an expanded network of locations, new team members joining our organization, and increased capabilities across personal and business banking. It’s another step forward in our ongoing effort to deliver the best possible experience for you.

What does this announcement mean for me as a customer TC Federal Bank customer?

For now, nothing changes about how you bank. You’ll continue to visit the same branch, use the same login, and work with the same people you know and trust. As we move through the transition, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way and let you know well in advance of any changes to your account or services.

When will TC Federal Bank become Colony Bank?

Right now, nothing is changing. TC Federal Bank and Colony Bank will continue to operate separately until the merger is complete, pending regulatory approval. We expect the legal close to happen in the fourth quarter of 2025, followed by system updates and rebranding in the first quarter of 2026. You’ll receive plenty of notice before anything changes with your accounts or services.

Why are TC Federal Bank and Colony Bank merging?

This partnership came together for the right reasons. Both banks share a similar approach to community banking – one that’s centered on relationships, personal service, and doing what’s best for the customer. By coming together, we’ll be able to offer you more of the following: expanded access to locations, enhanced digital banking tools, and a wider range of personal and business banking solutions. You’ll still work with the same friendly team you know and trust, now with even more resources behind them to serve you better.

Can I use location or services at both banks right now?

Not yet. Until the merger is finalized and systems are fully integrated, Colony Bank and TC Federal Bank will continue to operate separately. That means customers of each bank should continue using their existing branches, debit cards, online banking, and customer service contacts. Once we’re closer to the official transition, we’ll provide clear updates and let you know when and how you can begin accessing the full combined network of locations and services.

Will my account or debit card change?

There are no immediate changes to your account or debit card. If updates are needed in the future, we’ll let you know well in advance and make the process as easy as possible.

Will I still work with my same banker?

Yes. Your relationship with your banker won’t change. We’re combining forces to bring you more resources, not to replace the people and relationships you count on.

Will the name of my bank change?

Eventually, and pending regulatory approval, all locations will transition to the Colony Bank brand. We’ll provide plenty of notice and details before any changes take place.

What are the benefits of this partnership for me?

This partnership means you’ll gain access to:

  • An expanded branch and ATM network across Georgia and Florida
  • More personal and business banking solutions
  • Enhanced digital and mobile banking tools
  • Greater lending capacity and support for larger loan needs
  • Continued community focus and investment
Who can I contact with questions?

Your local banker is still your best resource. If you ever have a question or concern, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here for you.
